With 20 years of real estate and property management experience, Dion Chrapko offers his clients a strong blend of revenue generating savvy and operational understanding to ensure longevity, profitability and efficiency of any property under Barclay Street’s portfolio.
As Barclay Street’s Vice President of Property Management, Dion works closely with the Property Management team to ensure the company’s portfolio is offered the highest level of service, efficiency and professionalism.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Business from the University of Calgary, Dion followed his passion of business and entered the real estate industry. Through the last 20 years, he has worked in a diverse spectrum of companies that gave him experience in commercial lending, property operations, real estate investment and asset management. For over 10 years, Dion worked with one of largest property investment companies in Canada which helped him develop a keen eye for identifying innovative revenue generation opportunities in his client’s properties while maximizing the return on their investment and ensuring strong tenant relations.
Throughout Calgary, Dion has managed over 1.3 million square feet and has worked with countless businesses which have helped him establish a strong tenant relations platform built on sound business practices. Dion’s belief is that by keeping tenants happy, landlords are ensuring tenant retention in a property and thereby reduce all costs and time associated with lease turnover. Working closely with the property management team at Barclay Street, Dion ensures the team provides clients with a unified service that stresses ethical business practices and strives to achieve optimal value and service for the company’s clients and their tenants.
As an outdoor enthusiast, Dion spends the summer months camping and hiking with his wife and family. He also likes to play recreational hockey whenever his schedule allows it.

Angela joined Barclay Street in February 2017 as the main Receptionist providing administrative support to both property management and brokerage. Being new to the real estate industry, Angela has found a real keenness to pursue a career in the property management side of the real estate business undertaking small projects and participating condominium AGM meetings to gain knowledge in the condominium management industry.
Angela’s background prior to this was in customer service working as a Billing Specialist & Collections Supervisor for major utility companies and through this has developed very strong customer service skills and abilities that have proven to be a great asset to Barclay Street Real Estate.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys training at the gym, going to movies, reading.
Pat Farrell has worked in a variety of buildings in the downtown core and beltline and has accumulated 25 years of experience in the field of maintenance and operations.
Pat joined Barclay Street Real Estate in 2008. As the Building Operations Manager of the HSBC Building, he oversees all maintenance and management of the building and assists with other properties as required. He graduated from the Southern Institute of Technology and holds a 5th class Engineer's Certificate.
With over 25 years of property management experience, Shirley Ganong offers her tenants and clients a high level of expertise and care. As a senior property manager of Barclay Street Real Estate, Shirley assists with overseeing all activities within the Property Management division.
Since starting her real estate career in 1990, Shirley has worked exclusively in property management and has acquired extensive knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Over the years, Shirley has managed a large variety of properties, including various sizes of retail, office, industrial, and commercial condominiums. Some of her current clients have been with her for over 20 years.
Reece is our newest member of the Barclay Street property management team and formally worked in various trade related industries allowing him to develop and very detailed understanding as to how the various trades operate within certain parameters to deliver great service to building owners. Reece has demonstrated a very proficient ability to work with the trades to ensure timely and budgeted completion of various projects at his respective sites. Reece is very proficient when it comes to working with various Board’s as he currently manages a large multi-residential portfolio in Calgary. He has demonstrated great ability and we see great potential in his abilities to date.
With 12 years of direct condominium management experience, Mark understands the importance of your home, and he prides himself in offering excellent customer service. Managing with a “hand-on” style is the best way to describe how he works.
Mark holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, and prior to joining the property management business he spent 26 years in the hospitality industry and managed many well-known hotels located from Ottawa to Vancouver and cities in-between.
Outside of work Mark enjoys spending time with his family whether that be travelling, camping, dining out or simply having a fine home cooked meal.
Dana has worked in building operations for over 6 years and in this time has established an excellent understanding of preventative maintenance and repair programs as it pertains to mechanical system operations. Dana has completed 5th Class Power Engineering through SAIT and holds a 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate through ABSA. Dana prides himself in his excellent customer relations and tenants have complimented his efforts in this regard on numerous occasions.
In his spare time Dana enjoys fishing and camping throughout Alberta and BC.
Tony comes to Barclay Street from Rancho Realty where he had acquired experience in residential maintenance and this combined with his previous experience combined for 8 years experience in real estate maintenance experience. Tony has developed vary sound practices as it pertains to building operations and currently oversees various assets in the portfolio including industrial, retail and multi-res properties. Tony also has a great deal of experience in the trades and is very proficient in the sourcing and coordinating of various trades that have allowed him to complete various complicated assignments both on time and on budget. Tony demonstrates and acute level of awareness as it pertains to health and safety practices within the company which has proven to be a true asset to the clients by mitigating potential site hazards and reducing risk for their respective properties. In his spare time, Tony enjoys camping, riding his Cruiser and family time in the backyard listening to music with his family.
