Doug Grinde began his commercial real estate career with Barclay Street Real Estate 20 years ago when he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Since joining the company, Doug has become an invaluable asset working closely with the Calgary team and is now heading up the Edmonton office as the Vice President for the region.
With a farming background in rural Alberta, Doug knows what it means to work hard and treat people with integrity - his clients are no exception. Although his career started in Calgary, Doug found a niche for himself in Edmonton where his broad experience has helped reposition Barclay Street in the greater Edmonton market.
Additionally, as a senior sales advisor, Doug works closely with clients through the Alberta corridor and provides them with meaningful solutions while offering honest, knowledgeable advice. His knowledge comes from years of diverse transactions including new development projects, complex sale transactions and large leasing assignments.

Barclay Street Real Estate Ltd., specifically David Wallach and Doug Grinde, facilitated our acquisition of Tawa Centre, a 95,000 square foot medical office complex in South Edmonton. In addition to engaging the previous owners, they provided advice on deal structure and were helpful in assisting to compile the information we required to complete our due diligence. Their attentiveness, consistent reporting and professional approach were invaluable and we look forward to working with them again.
