Pat Farrell has worked in a variety of buildings in the downtown core and beltline and has accumulated 25 years of experience in the field of maintenance and operations.

Pat joined Barclay Street Real Estate in 2008.  As the Building Operations Manager of the HSBC Building, he oversees all maintenance and management of the building and assists with other properties as required. He graduated from the Southern Institute of Technology and holds a 5th class Engineer's Certificate.

As Vice President of the Property Management Division and with over 30 years of property management experience, Shirley offers her clients and tenants a high level of expertise and care.
Since starting her real estate career in 1990, Shirley has worked exclusively in property management and has acquired extensive knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Shirley has managed a large variety of properties over the years, including various sizes of retail, office, industrial, and commercial condominiums.
Shirley is a native Calgarian and in her spare time she enjoys travelling, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Joshua Gill joined Barclay Street in May 2024 and brings a strong customer service approach to Real Estate, based on past experience. Prior to entering commercial real estate, Joshua moved up the ranks from sales and managed a sign shop from 2016 to 2017 which inspired his love for architecture and buildings. He has completed multiple transactions closing more than 20,000 square feet both as a Landlord’s agent as well as a Tenant representative.

He is also an avid car enthusiast and loves adventure sports so go ahead and ask him if Bugatti’s new Divo is truly an improvement over the Veyron.

Natasha has joined the Barclay Street Real Estate Ltd. as a Property Accountant in July of 2016.Natasha’s prior long professional journey involved different finance and accounting companies in different countries: Moldova, Russia and Israel. She immigrated to Canada with her family in October 1998. The first eight years she worked in public accounting companies where she acquired invaluable experience in Canadian accounting and taxation. Through this experience she built strong skills and solid foundation that is required to work with small businesses. Natasha’s cumulative accounting experience in Canada is over 20 years.
Natasha earned 2 bachelor degrees in Finances/Economics and in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Moldova. Her education was recognized in both Israel and Canada. Since then she has completed numerous accounting related programs/courses in Israel (graduated as an accountant from H.I.S.G College -Tel Aviv) and Canada (SAIT).
In her spare time Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She loves traveling and has a passion for arts: literature, music, painting and theatre.

Kris joined Barclay Street in the spring of 2013 as an Associate for the Downtown Leasing team, became Associate Vice President in 2019, Vice President in 2020, Executive Vice President in 2023 and Partner in 2024.

Kris immigrated to Canada in 2004 from Shanghai, China. Kris has been gaining experience in various aspects of the real estate business to best guide and advise clients since 2007. He was engaged in operating a real estate consortium which specialized in property acquisition and sales. Kris was partnered with a team of investors to purchase properties for the purpose of improving and reselling them at a profit, and maximize cash flow rentals.

Real estate is Kris's passion. Kris endeavours to provide his clients with meaningful solutions to their problems by developing a thorough understanding of their needs.
Outside of work, Kris enjoys his family time with his wife and son, regular boxing training, hiking during the summer and winter sports during the winter.

Murray specializes in Beltline and Suburban office leasing in Calgary, Alberta, with over 7 years experience in the industry. Murray began his real estate career with Barclay Street Real Estate and then continuing his career with a national brokerage. During this time, Murray honed his negotiating skills, became an expert in the market and built strong relationships with many local and international clients. Murray was awarded as the highest performing first year associate after successful closing 38 lease and sale transactions in his first year with the national brokerage.

Murray returned to Barclay Street in 2022 and looks to continue to provide top quality services in facilitating lease negotiations for both institutional/local landlords and tenants.

Ria started her Career at Barclay Street Real Estate in the summer of 2023, as an Office Leasing Assistant. Her primary focus involves staying on top of current developments in the Calgary Downtown/Beltline Office market to ensure accurate market data delivery to clients.

Prior to her current position, Ria actively engaged in volunteer work for political campaigns at both Provincial and Federal levels. Subsequently, she transitioned into the role of case worker for a constituency office, where she adeptly managed numerous ongoing cases, ensuring their timely and thorough resolution while providing support to constituents navigating challenging circumstances. Additionally, Ria has honed skills in social media and marketing management, project leadership, and meticulous long-term planning.

Allan Jones joined Barclay Street Real predecessor, Torode Realty, in 1987 after graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in Economics. He became an original partner in February 2001 when Torode was sold to Barclay Street.

Allan specializes in downtown office leasing and has represented tenants/subtenants and landlords/sublandlords in over 2.8 million square feet of leasing transactions.

Although Allan deals with numerous large tenants in the marketplace, his specialty over the past 36 years is an Exclusive Listing Agent. He has listed dozens of downtown buildings and sublease assignments over the years with tremendous success. Allan has never lost a listing due to non-performance. Allan’s list of Tenants and Landlords he has represented and space he has listed and leased is extensive and impressive. Allan is respected by his clients and peers alike for his professionalism, honesty, loyalty and results.

In his spare time, as an avid sports fan, Allan plays hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.

Nicky commenced her journey with Barclay Street in spring 2021, stepping into the role of Administrative Assistant. In this capacity, she provided invaluable support to various teams including Suburban, Beltline, and Downtown Office Leasing, Investment, Retail, and Industrial, where her responsibilities encompassed crafting marketing materials, overseeing legal documentation, conducting research, and managing listing databases.
Her exceptional performance led to her transition in 2023 to the role of Office Manager, wherein she efficiently oversees the day-to-day operations of our office. With her adept management skills, Nicky now extends her support across the entire office, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal efficiency.

Prior to joining Barclay Street, Nicky amassed extensive experience in the insurance industry, serving as a licensed Broker and Claims Adjuster for 15 years. Transitioning five years ago to an administrative role within a prominent agricultural company, she further honed her organizational prowess.

Outside of her professional endeavours, Nicky treasures spending quality time with her husband and two children, relishing the serene ambiance of their lake community.

George Larson’s involvement with the Calgary commercial real estate market began in 1986 when he joined Barclay Street Real Estate’s predecessor as the General Sales Manager. Prior to joining the company George worked in banking and commercial lending services for 22 years, which included directing a financial institution as a General Manager.

In 1991, George took on the responsibilities of a Senior Negotiator, which he continues to carry out today. He was also a member of the partnership group that acquired the brokerage from a public company in 2001. As a senior investment sales associate of the firm, George works closely with the Barclay Street Real Estate investment sales team to ensure maximum added value is provided to his clients. In his career, George has sold over $500 million in real estate properties.

George’s areas of specialization have been the mid-size retail and office sectors in Calgary and Edmonton with properties in an approximate range of $5 to $25 Million. He travels monthly to major Canadian cities to meet clients and attends ICSC conferences and other real estate forums. In his career, he has successfully represented, as exclusive agent, many of Canada’s leading private and institutional investors in their acquisition and divestiture activity in the Alberta market.

As an avid family man, George enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever he can and takes great satisfaction in their growth towards productive members of society.
