Doug Grinde began his commercial real estate career with Barclay Street Real Estate over 25 years ago when he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Doug is currently based out of Edmonton but remains active with projects in Calgary and through the Alberta corridor. With a farming background in rural Alberta, Doug knows what it means to work hard and treat people with integrity.

A majority of Doug’s clients are private – non-institutional. These clients often require significant analysis behind the scenes to assist their decision making prior to any public disclosure being made or mandate announced.

Years of diverse transactions including new development projects, investment sale transactions and large leasing assignments. Sectors he has been active in include both commercial and residential development land, various forms of investment properties and hospitality related.

Barclay Street Real Estate Ltd., specifically David Wallach and Doug Grinde, facilitated our acquisition of Tawa Centre, a 95,000 square foot medical office complex in South Edmonton. In addition to engaging the previous owners, they provided advice on deal structure and were helpful in assisting to compile the information we required to complete our due diligence. Their attentiveness, consistent reporting and professional approach were invaluable and we look forward to working with them again.
